(Cleveland) - Homeowners in Cuyahoga County are not too pleased with recent re-appraisals of their homes.
Some folks claim their homes have gone up tens of thousands of dollars in value although they do not believe they can get the amount for the newly appraised homes if they were to try and sell them.
The higher appraisal values also mean additional property taxes for homeowners every six months which is not sitting well with those who have seen their homes soar in value according to the county.
Each property is reviewed in person. Homeowners who dispute the alleged inflated numbers on their homes can appeal the county's assessment. The deadline to do so is August 31.
