(Seattle) - A mother from the Seattle, Washington area has now been charged months after she is accused of choking a sixth grade girl who got into a spat with her daughter during a basketball game between two Catholic schools.
Thirty-eight year old Monique Altheimer has been hit with felony assault on the girl. Police say she was cursing at the girl while she was strangling her and that the girl nearly blacked out before her own mother knocked Altheimer down stopping the attack. Charging documents indicate Altheimer has been previously convicted of assault.
