(Cleveland) - The Cleveland Indians are solidifying the back end of their bullpen.
The Tribe is acquiring San Diego Padres All-Star closer Brad Hand and pitcher Adam Cimber in exchange for highly touted prospect, Francisco Mejia.
Hand has 24 saves, an E.R.A. just over 3 and 65 strikeouts in 44.1 innings pitched. Cimber has a 3.17 E.R.A and 51 strikeouts in 48 and one-thirds innings pitched. Mejia has spent the majority of the year in the minors.
