(Washington) - President Trump has thrown his support behind Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine in his quest to become Ohio's next governor.
Trump, on Twitter, formally endorsed Dewine, a day after the Ohio A-G bested Lt. Governor Mary Taylor in the Republican primary by 20 percentage points.
Dewine will face Democrat Richard Cordray in the fall. Trump blasted Cordray in his tweet calling Cordray a 'socialist' and a 'failure in his last job.
Dewine and Cordray are not strangers when it comes to battling each other. Dewine beat Cordray for the Ohio Attorney General's post in 2010.
