(Cleevland) - Former Cleveland Indians slugger Travis Hafner will be taking some hacks on a local baseball diamond.
The Lake Erie Crushers say 'Pronk' has agreed to play one game with the team on June 16 at Sprenger Health Care Stadium in Avon.
Hafner played a dozen years in the Major Leagues, ten of which with the Cleveland Indians. He carried a .273 career batting average and slugged 213 homers during his career.
Hafner will take batting practice with the Crushers and will sign autographs after the game. The Crushers are a member of the Frontier League in independent baseball.
