CLEVELAND, OH -- Orioles rookie infielder Gunnar Henderson made his major league debut and was gleaming with confidence. In his second at-bat of the game, the youngster lost his helmet on a big swing, sending the ball over the center field wall for his first big league blast. Jordan Lyles and the Orioles bullpen were in full control of the Guardians' lineup on their way to a 4-0 win.
The Orioles were clinging to a two-run lead until Ramon Urias blew the game open in the 8th inning. Urias jumped all over Eli Morgan, blasting a two-run homer to be Baltimore on top 4-0 in the late innings.
The Guardians will look to take the series in the final game of the three-game bout. The first pitch is set for 6:10 pm ET at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
