SEATTLE, WA--- The Cleveland Guardians got a big time win in a playoff atmosphere in Seattle defeating the Mariners 4-3. Tonight all time great Ichiro Suzuki was honored and inducted in the Mariners Hall of Fame. Luis Castillo was initially all over Cleveland, going 6 innings giving up only 4 hits and striking out 10 Guardians batters on a whopping 115 pitches.

Throwing a large amount of pitches isn't new for Castillo as in a 5-3 win when he was with the Reds back in June he threw 123. The game started as a home run fest with solo bombs coming from Eugenio Suarez, Julio Rodriguez, and Jose Ramirez through the first 4 innings. Jake Lamb then added one of his own for Seattle in the 7th inning. In the 8th was when the Guardians exploded, Jose Ramirez and Josh Naylor would each rack up an RBI double a piece, Andres Gimenez would then hit a SAC fly to bring in Ramirez. Emmanuel Clase would come in the 9th inning for his 24th consecutive save.

The Guardians finish this 4 game series Sunday in Seattle, the game is scheduled for a 4:10 first pitch. Aaron Civale will be on the mound for the Guardians.
