Mariners Walk Off Guardians in 11 3-2

Seattle, WA--- The Cleveland Guardians and Seattle Mariners decided on a late one Friday night, playing 11 innings with the Mariners winning it 3-2. Shane BIeber was the Guardians starter tonight, he had a very solid outing going 7 innings giving up only 5 hits and striking out 9 batters. Every run except the winning run came from a SAC fly.

Steven Kwan was the first to hit a SAC fly in the 3rd inning , bringing in Austin Hedges who had a 2 hit night. Kwan was then brought home via another SAC fly from Josh Naylor in the 6th inning. Adam Frazier then got the Mariners on the board in the 7th. James Karinchak had a big time performance in the 8th inning, striking out 3 batters with Jesse Winker being the 3rd, Winker would get ejected arguing the call along with Mariners manager Scott Servais, Karinchak easily saved the game at that point. But Mitch Haniger would hit a single in the 11th to walk in off an win the game for Seattle. Cleveland tonight was 1 for 15 with runners in scoring position.

The Guardians continue the 4 game series with game 3 Saturday night at 10:10 were Seattle legend Ichiro Suzuki will be inducted in the he Mariners Hall of Fame, Zach Plesac will be on the mound for the Guardians.
