The Cleveland Guardians wasted no time getting their offense going in their return from the All-Star Break, jumping out to a commanding 4-0 lead after the first inning. Cleveland went on to cruise to an 8-2 victory over the scuffling White Sox.
Guardians' rookie Steven Kwan had a multi-hit night, going 3-5 with two runs scored. Amed Rosario did a great job setting the tables for the rest of the lineup, going 2-3 with a double and two walks.
The Guardians and White Sox will play a day/night doubleheader on Saturday, as the Guards try and climb closer towards first place in the American League Central Division.
