CLEVELAND, OH--- The Cleveland Guardians rallied for 10 runs to shut out the Tigers 10-0. The shutout was almost ended in the 9th but Guardians manager Terry Francona would challenge a call at home that would've given the Tigers a run but won the challenge in the 9th. Cal Quantrill was on the mound and was fantastic.

Quantrill gave the Guardians 6 innings of pitching where he would not give up a run, only 4 hits, and would strike out 5. The Guardians offense started early, Jose Ramirez would hit a 2 run home run in the bottom of the first, and that wouldn't be his only of the evening. The Guardians would then explode for 5 runs the next inning, the scoring would come from a Myles Straw double, an Amed Rosario double, and Jose's second home run of the day. Again another explosion in the 4th, this time for 3 runs. These runs would come from a Josh Naylor home run and a Nolan Jones line drive single.

The Guardians continue this series with the Tigers at Progressive Field for a 1:40 first pitch tomorrow afternoon, Shane Bieber takes the mound.
