LOS ANGELES, CA--- The Cleveland Guardians lost their second game of a 3 game road series to the LA Dodgers 7-1 Saturday night. It was a one-sided affair as the Dodgers seemed to be in control the whole game. Jose Ramirez was missing from this game after re-aggravating his jammed thumb during the Colorado series, which he initially jammed around 10 days ago according to manager Terry Francona.

The Guardians' only run of the night came from a throwing error by Max Muncy that allowed Amed Rosario to score. From there on, the Dodgers were in full control, outhitting the Guardians 11-2. In the bottom of the 2nd, the Dodgers got their first run via an Austin Barnes SAC fly that brought in Cody Bellinger. That same inning Trea Turner hit a 2-run home run that scored Chris Taylor. In the next inning for LA Justin Turner would hit an RBI double to score Max Muncy. Turner was brought in by a Gavin Lux triple. The Dodgers wouldn't score again until Guardians pitcher Anthony Castro would walk Justin Turner, Austin Barnes scored via the walk. In that next inning, Nick Sandlin was on the mound for the Guardians, he would commit a throwing error trying to throw out Freddie Freeman, which would allow Gavin Lux to score the last Dodger run of the game. Dodger starter Julio Urias gave up the only hits of the LA pitching staff, going 6 innings, giving up 2 hits, and 1 run while striking out 6. The LA bullpen sent out David Price, Phil Bickford, and Reyes Moronta to each pitch a hitless inning and finish off the Guardians.

Cleveland can try and win the series tomorrow in LA with ace Shane Bieber on the mound. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:10 pm.
