DETROIT, MI--- The Cleveland Guardians dominated the Tigers in Detroit winning the game 8-1. Shane Bieber had a dominant outing through 8 innings before Emmanuel Clase came in to close the 9th.

Bieber for the Guardians went 8 innings giving up 8 hits and 1 run while striking out 5. This is the Bieber that Guardians fans have been missing for a while. Josh Naylor got the Guardians on the board first in the top of the 4th when he doubled to center field to bring in Jose Ramirez to score, Naylor was then brought home by Richie Palacios. Things were a bit quiet until Jose Ramirez cleared the bases with a triple on a ground ball that rolled past first base into the right-field corner, Richie Palacios, Myles Straw, and Steven Kwan were the bases runners that scored. In the next half-inning, the Tigers scored their only run on a SAC fly from Wili Castro that brought in Harold Castro. As if the Guardians didn't already have the edge on a win, Jose Ramirez secured a 5 RBI game with a 2-run Home Run in the top of the 9th, and Myles Straw was brought in to score. With this win, the Guardians are 79-29 against the Tigers since 2016.

The Guardians stay in Motown tomorrow for a 1:40 first pitch with Tristion McKenzie on the mound.
