CLEVELAND, OH -- The tribe offensive woes continued into Tuesday evening's game against the visiting Twins. After scoring just two runs off of a Reyes homer yesterday, the Indians were shutout in front of their home crowd for game two of the four game series. The Minnesota Twins jumped ahead on a 2-out RBI single from Andrelton SImmons in the 5th inning and never looked back, cruising to a 3-0 win over the Indians.
Minnesota starter John Gant kept the Cleveland lineup off balance on his way through 5 innings of scoreless baseball. The Twins bullpen combined for 4 innings of shutout baseball, striking out 5 while walking one.
The Indians will look to snap their 2-game skid on Wednesday night in the third game of the 4-game series. First pitch on Wednesday is set for 6:10 pm ET at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
