Boston, MA--

The Tribe flew into Boston after sweeping Kansas City and holing a four game win streak. Boston quickly showed the Indians that it was time for the streak to end. The Red Sox were the first to make the scoreboard with a solo home run from Kyle Schwarber. The Red Sox extended their lead with an additional solo home run. Jose Ramirez places the Tribe on the board with a solo home run to right center. Boston extended their lead to 1-3 in the bottom of the fourth.

In the seventh inning the Indians tied the game with a two run home run off the bat of Austin Hedges. But the tie did not last long with an RBI double from Kyle Schwarber and a three run home run from Hunter Renfroe in the bottom of the seventh. Although it seemed all was lost, Bobby Bradley in the eight and Jose Ramirez in the ninth each had RBIs to brign the final score to 5-8.

The Indians take on the Red Sox again tomorrow at 4:10 at Fenway Park!
