KANSAS CITY, MO -- The Indians set a new franchise record with their recent dominance of the Kansas City Royals. After defeating the Royals by the final score of 4-2 on Thursday night, the Indians set a new club record for consecutive wins over the Royals, moving to 11 games in a row.

After falling behind early, Cleveland right hander Triston McKenzie locked it in. McKenzie tossed 6 full innings while giving up 1 earned run on two hits while striking out 6 batters. Owen Miller turned the game on it's side with one swing of the bat, putting Cleveland ahead on a 3-run blast to left field.

The Indians will head to the legendary Fenway Ballpark this weekend for a 30game series against the Bosox. First pitch on Friday evening is set for 7:10 pm ET at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.
