KANSAS CITY, MO -- The Kansas City Royals had the tribe on their heels in the 10th inning with the bases loaded and nobody out. With his back against the wall, Blake Parker was brilliant. Parker struck out the red hot Salvador Perez, forced Carlos Santana to pop out, and forced Michael A Taylor out to tip-toe out of the inning. The tribe jumped on Ervin Santana for 2 go ahead runs, and went on to win by the final score of 5-3 in 11 total innings.
Cleveland trailed for the entire first half of the game, before turning things around in the back half. Yu Chang pinch hit to lead off the 7th inning, when he launched a game tying homer to left field. Chang would appear in the clutch again in the 11th inning, ripping an RBI double scoring Bobby Bradley.
The Indians will look to sweep the Royals in the final game of the 3-game series on Thursday night. First pitch on Thursday is set for 8:10 pm ET at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
