Cleveland, OH--
In the second game of this three game series, Boston sent out Nathan Eovaldi while Cleveland started with Cal Quantrill. Boston took the early lead with a home run off the bat of Kyle Schwarber and an RBI double from Xander Bogaerts for a 2-0 lead in the first. Cleveland tied up the game in the second inning with a home run from Franmil Reyes and an RBI single from Bobby Bradley, who was brought up from single A ball this afternoon.
The game stayed tied for the entire game until the tenth inning where Boston took the lead with a three run home run thanks to J.D. Martinez to bring the score to 5-2. Cleveland answered but not quite as loud with an RBI single from Oscar Mercado. The Tribe had the chance for a walk off win when they loaded the bases in the tenth but couldn't produce any runs off of it. The Indians lost with a final score of 5-3.
The Indians face off against the Red Sox tomorrow at 1:10 at Progressive Field.
