Anaheim, CA--Shohei Ohtani delivered offensively and the Cleveland Indians continued to struggle on the west coast as they fall to the Los Angeles Angels 7-4.
The game started with promise:
It was all Angels the rest of the way:
Indians starter Sam Hentges (1-1) only lasted 1 2/3 innings, giving up six runs and five hits. Tribe bullpen was in damage control the rest of the game.
Angels superstar Mike Trout was injured early in the game. More details in the days to come. Indians outfielder Jordan Luplow was removed from the game due to a sprained left ankle in the third inning.
Indians look to snap the four game losing streak Tuesday night. Zach Plesac (RHP, 3-3, 3.56) will start for Cleveland against Andrew Heaney (LHP, 1-3, 4.75) for Los Angeles.
