CLEVELAND, OH -- Cleveland starter Logan Allen's rough start to the season continued on Wednesday afternoon against the visiting Twins. Things fell apart quickly for Allen, who gave up 6 earned runs before being pulled in the 2nd inning. Byron Buxton launched a lead off homer, before Josh Donaldson went back-to-back on a solo shot to center field. The early scoring proved to be too much for the tribe, as they fell to the Twins by the final score of 10-2.

The Twins finally saw their bats come alive, exploding for 7 runs in the first 3 innings. Minnesota had five players go yard, three of which came while Logan Allen was in the game.

Despite dropping the last game of the series, the Indians took the 3-game series and move 3.5 games ahead of the Twins, sitting in 3rd place in the American League Central. Cleveland will take Thursday off before heading to the south side of Chicago to match up against the divisional foe White Sox. First pitch on Friday evening is set for 8:10 pm ET at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, Illinois.
