CHICAGO--They all can't be winners right? With one out, Yu Chang who's learning first base attempted to throw to second to setup a double play to send the game into extra innings. Instead this happened:
It was game one of a four game series against AL Central contending Chicago White Sox and for a game played in mid-April, it was a very competitive battle.
Eddie Rosario got the party started early:
White Sox took the lead in the third with an Adam Eaton homer (2nd straight game with homer).
In the sixth, Franmil Reyes tied it up with a sac fly. However, the Tribe had the bases loaded with no out and only brought in one run while Jose Ramirez and Eddie Rosario struck out.
Indians bullpen was put to work. Cal Quantrill escaped a bases loaded situation in the bottom of the sixth.
Game was still tied until the walk-off in the ninth.
Here's Tuesday night's pitching matchup, a pitching matchup between two AL Central aces!
