Cesar Hernandez Drives Home Four, Tribe Roll Past Rangers 7-2

GOODYEAR, AZ -- Cleveland second baseman Cesar Hernandez continued his Spring tear on Sunday evening in Goodyear. Hernandez extended the Indians one run lead on a two run RBI double, and later launched a solo homer for his fourth RBI of the game. Shane Bieber and the rest of the Cleveland staff pitched lights out, as the tribe rolled to a 7-2 victory over the Rangers.

After a four-RBI day, Cesar Hernandez batting averages jolts up to an impressive .412 for the spring. Franmil Reyes worked through his recent struggles at the plate and got on the right track, going yard in the 5th inning. Tribe ace Shane Bieber tossed 4 full innings, giving up 0 runs on 2 hits, striking out 6.

The Cleveland Indians will face off against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday afternoon. First pitch is set for 4:05 pm ET at Goodyear Ballpark in Goodyear, Arizona.
