CLEVELAND--Francisco Lindor drove in a run and Carlos Santana homered to left in the first inning to put the Tribe up 3-0. This lead helped Adam Plutko pitch six innings en route to his first win of the season and the Indians win game 2 of the traditional doubleheader against the White Sox 5-3.
Plutko only gave up two earned runs and had four strikeouts in six innings of work. Carlos Rodon of the White Sox took the loss; only lasted 3.2 innings giving up the runs in the first inning to the Indians and never recovered.
Tonight's Indians reliever had a special day.
Indians will go for the sweep Wednesday night at 6:10pm. The Tribe will start Zach Plesac, RHP while the White Sox start RHP Lucas Giolito.
