Three-Run Indians for the Three-Peat, Indians Defeat Astros 10-4

CLEVELAND--After a day in which both teams made major moves to improve their clubs, it was the Indians who had four homers including three three-run homers outscore the Astros 10-4 on Wednesday night. Roberto Perez, who was struggling since the All-Star Break had his first regular season career multi-homer game.

Zach Plesac (6-3) survived the Astros offense for his third straight win in the battle of starting rookie pitchers. Meanwhile Astros rookie pitcher Jose Urquidy (1-1) takes the loss mostly thanks to these highlights below:

With tonight's Indians victory, both teams have split this series and the season series. The final game of this series and the season series on Thursday night will feature the return of RHP Danny Salazar who will star in a major league game for the first time since Game 4 of the Yankees 2017 AL Division Series. Adam Plutko will be the piggyback pitcher.
