Chicago -- Carlos Carrasco matched a season high six runs and giving up 10 hits across 6 1/3 innings for his third consecutive loss, and the White Sox lead by Jose Abreu and Yonder Alonso beat the Indians 10-4, for their 4th consecutive victory.
Alonso, who was in a slump, homered and doubled and added 2 RBI against his former team. His teammates, Jose Abreu added a homer and 3 run RBI, Eloy Jimenez went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI.
The highlights for the Indians were few and far between but Jordan Luplow hit his 7th home run of the season, his 4th against White Sox starter Manny Banuelos. Carlos Santana had one hit and drove in 2 and Jason Kipnis added 2 hits of his own.
The Tribe will try and rebound Friday night against these same White Sox with first pitch at 8:10 as Trevor Bauer (4-4 3.99 ERA) takes on Dylan Covey (0-4 5.47 ERA) for the White Sox.
