BOSTON--The Indians looked like the same team that has struggled in their seven of eight game losing streak. But then the 9th inning happened and on this night, things changed as the Indians stun the Red Sox 7-5.
Greg Allen only has four hits this season out of 46 attempts. But Hit #4 was one of the biggest of his career and maybe the turning point of the 2019 Cleveland Indians season.
This was followed by a Luplow RBI Double that gave the Indians their only lead of the night at 7-5. This capped off a five run ninth inning and seven run team performance by the Tribe after being down 5-2.
Below are Greg Allen's thoughts on the game as he spoke to Fox Sports' Andre Knott after the game.
An inning and a half was played before the 69 minute rain delay in Boston. Zach Plesac only allowed three hits in his first major league start in 5 1/3 innings.
