MIAMI, FL--Carlos Gonzalez may have become a fan favorite as he hit the go-ahead three run blast to put the Tribe ahead for good as the Cleveland Indians defeat the Miami Marlins 7-4 on Tuesday night.

Trevor Bauer (4-1) had to earn his fourth win of the season as the Indians defense struggled early in the game especially in the second inning. Missed defensive opportunities led to scores by Rojas on a Alcentara SAC fly in which Jose Ramirez choose to make the routine throw for first base instead of getting Rojas out when the Marlins already had two outs.

Also in the second, Jake Bauers played an outfield hit from Prado conservatively over centerfield which led to a score from Galloway. However the Indians recovered with the Gonzalez home run. This home run gave Sandy Alcantara (1-3) the loss.

Mike Clevinger was playing catch three weeks after his back injury. He was throwing from 60 feet and he told Andre Knott he felt great earlier today. He was not scheduled to pick up a baseball for another 3-5 weeks.

Wednesday night, RHP Corey Kluber (2-3, 5.88) will make his first career start against the Miami Marlins against LHP Caleb Smith (2-0, 2.17).
