DETROIT--In the battle of two of the hottest teams in this young baseball season, it was the Cleveland Indians that got the job done today over the Detroit Tigers 8 to 2.

Indians ace Corey Kluber (1-2) gets his first win of the season but he had huge help from the offense. The Indians had four homers in this game (they only had four all season). Leonys Martin, Brad Miller, Roberto Perez and Jake Bauers all hit their first homer of the season.

Tigers starter Jordan Zimmermann (0-1) left the game in the fifth inning after giving up four earned runs. This was after Zimmermann gave up only one run in 13 2/3 innings to start the season. The Tribe extended their winning streak to five while snapping the Tigers' five game win streak.

While the Indians won the game, they will have to go without pitching standout Mike Clevinger. Below is an medical update on Clevinger:

Indians will start RHP Trevor Bauer (1-0, 0.64 ERA) Wednesday afternoon against LHP Matthew Boyd (0-1, 3.18).
