Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin have officially been married for two years now!
On Tuesday (January 26), Lambert turned to Instagram to mark the special occasion, sharing a romantic snapshot taken of the pair during the filming process of her "Settling Down" music video.
"2 years hitched!! â€ïž @brendanjmcloughlin," the country star wrote in the caption. McLoughlin commented with a winking emoji and a big red heart before sharing an anniversary post of his own.
"Happy anniversary to this amazing woman. @mirandalambert đ„," he captioned a photo of his wife in the kitchen wearing an apron that read, "Grab your Balls, it's canning season."
Throughout the couple's last year of marriage, they've spent most of their time quarantined together at their Tennessee farm. "Weâre pretty much newlyweds since weâve only been married a year and a half, but weâve already survived a pandemic so I think weâre golden," the country singer said in an interview over the summer.
"He loves to clean, and I knew that but it has really come in handy," Lambert added, explaining details of their life in quarantine. "The whole routine: make a meal, clean it up, make a meal, clean it up. Weâve had fun."
Lambert and McLoughlin tied the knot secretly in January 2019 and didn't announce it publicly until just after Valentine's Day in February that year. "In honor of Valentineâs day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched!â she wrote in an Instagram post at the time. "My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for ⊠Me."
Congrats to the sweet couple!
