Live on Fox and Friends, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a comprehensive election bill into law that he along with other Republicans said would place safeguards against election fraud, even as they acknowledged there were no serious signs of voting irregularities last November. Dems and voting rights advocates said the bill is a partisan move that will make it harder for some voters to cast ballots.

The popular Republican governor signed the newly-passed legislation ahead of his probable announcement that he’ll seek a second term in the nation’s largest battleground state.
