The Lincoln Project has no plans of fading away into history after the election.
The PAC of Trump-opposing Moderates and Republicans has built a social media following a series of ads personally and professionally attacking the President and his administration. And once it potentially achieves its goal of getting Joe Biden and other Democrats elected, it's looking to capitalize on that and build a whole media empire, Axios reports.
In the weeks following the election, the Lincoln Project is expected to move past podcasts and video ads and into larger projects. The group is already working with a documentarian to produce a film after the election, Axios also reports. In addition, some broadcast networks are interested in running the project's web shows, a source says. TV studios are also reportedly reaching out to work with the Lincoln Project "to help develop a House of Cards-like fiction series," Axios also reports.
