Speaking to reporters Tuesday morning, Sen. Mitt Romney announced that he supports holding a vote on President Trump’s nominee to replace Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Ginsburg passed Friday at age 87 after serving over 27 years as an associate justice on the bench. Republicans have 53 seats in the Senate and the advantage of a tied vote being settled by Vice President Mike Pence, meaning four Republican Senators would have to jump ship to vote down the nominee. Trump tweeted that he would announce his nominee to replace Ginsburg on Saturday.
