The 134-day-long impeachment and Senate trial of President Donald Trump came to an anticlimactic end Wednesday afternoon when Chief Justice John Roberts announced that the Senate voted to acquit The President on both articles of impeachment.

Every Democrat voted to convict the President, but although the Senate vote was largely along party lines, Utah's Mitt Romney broke ranks with fellow Republicans, voting to convict on one article of impeachment: abuse of power. Trump's campaign manager called Romney an "irrelevant relic."
