President Trump's impeachment trial in the Senate resumes on Tuesday. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will officially introduce a resolution outlining the rules and procedure of the trial, including opening statements and a vote on witnesses. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer spoke out late Monday accusing McConnell of trying to rush the trial, saying the majority leader is "hell-bent on making it much more difficult to get witnesses and documents" than was the case for President Clinton's impeachment trial. Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, one of the president's closest allies in the Senate, told Fox News on Sunday that he wants the whole trial wrapped up by the State of the Union, which is exactly two weeks from Tuesday.
