Famed Chef and Cleveland Native Michael Symon joins Geraldo Rivera at 9:06 a.m. on Thursday. Symon recently disclosed he suffers from Lupus and his new cookbook, “Fix It With Food: More Than 125 Recipes to Address Autoimmune Issues and Inflammation” goes in depth how food as helped his health. Symon says he learned which foods caused his inflammation and pain and his goal is to help those who also suffer to discover their own food triggers.
Symon’s restaurants in Greater Cleveland include Lola, Mabel’s BBQ and his burger franchise BSpot. He also owns Roast in Detroit and Borgata in Atlantic City.
He’s a regular on Food Network Shows including “Iron Chef America”, “Burgers, Brew and ‘Que” and “The Best Thing I Ever Ate”. He also won a Daytime Emmy Award as co-host of the TV talk show “The Chew”.
