As the migrant caravan stalls in Southern Mexico, President Donald Trump declared his intentions to send as many as 15,000 troops to the southern border. While democrats have remained silent over the past couple weeks, they have resorted to shutting down the government over dreamer legislation earlier this year.
Sooner than later, both sides will have have to come to a compromise on this very important, and divisive, issue. Just don't expect either side to extend an olive branch before Tuesday's Midterm elections, border security has been a huge rallying cry for both sides to get their bases to the polls.
