Michael Deemer, President & CEO from The Downtown Cleveland Alliance spoke to Bill about DCA just published the 2022 Midyear Market Update - How are downtown's market sectors performing so far this year

In the first half of this year, Downtown's recovery has been strong:

  • The office market remained steady. Downtown Cleveland led the Cleveland area office market in net absorption and maintained a healthy occupancy rate of over 85%
  • Residential occupancy rose to the highest level since 2019, over 91%
  • Over $825 million of investment is underway, including major projects like the SW HQ, CrossCountry Mortgage HQ, City Club Apts, and 55 Public Square, among others
  • Overall we feel good about our work so far this year to expedite downtown's recovery, and we are seeing the results of our brand campaign playing out.

The Connection is Stronger Downtown campaign has been underway for most of the summer. What upcoming events can residents and visitors take part in over the next few weeks?
