DCA has been very active in Voter Education and Outreach.

  • Early and Absentee voting began last week - So you can now request your mail-in ballots or vote in person at the Board of Elections. 
  • DCA published its first Ever Voter Education Guide with information on when and where to vote as well as eligibility and requirements.
  • Public Policy Agenda- outlines the policy issues that greatly impact downtown
  • Candidate Questionaire- a platform for the candidates to communicate how their agenda’s impact Downtown Cleveland.

Why is DCA so focused on getting people out to vote?

  • This is an important moment in Downtown Cleveland’s history and the next mayor will be the person leading our recovery.
  • We want to be as supportive as we can in helping people make an educated decision.
  • We’ve touted our Welcome Back to Downtown Cleveland campaign since June, highlighting all the events, energy and vibrancy returning to the core.
    • Successfully opened in the beginning of October in Playhouse Square
    • The Browns season continues, Cavs gearing up for their regular season to start- home opener - October 22 against the Charlotte Hornets
  • Prepping for Winterfest, November 27th - Saturday after Thanksgiving
    • - Successfully hosted NFL Draft in May and are now looking forward to hosting the NBA All Star Game in February
  • Our Welcome back campaign will extend through the fall and winter seasons into and through 2022
