Michael Deemer, President & CEO from The Downtown Cleveland Alliance spoke to Bill about a very exciting event taking place in Downtown Cleveland’s Public Square this week - Fits well with DCA’s ongoing Welcome Back to Downtown Campaign

Connect in the city is an event to welcome residents, college graduates and young professionals back to the center city.

  • Saturday September 11th; 1-6pm in Downtown Cleveland’s Public Square
  • Partnership between Downtown Cleveland Alliance (DCA), the Cleveland Leadership Center, and the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club
    • Sponsors include; Spin and Greater Cleveland Partnership
    • Held during Global Cleveland’s Welcoming Week 2021
  • Event includes: 
    • Live music and a DJ, food trucks, live art demonstrations, a scavenger hunt, games, prizes and so much more. 
      • Registration for scavenger hunt @ Downtowncleveland.com
    • Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet with a series of local employers who will be on-hand to network and recruit talent.

The goal for this event is to help those new to Cleveland, create lasting memories and connections that will keep them here long term.
