Nets Fend Off Cavaliers in Cleveland 117-112

CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cavaliers got some important players back in the lineup on Monday night, including big man Jarrett Allen. Cleveland headed into halftime with a double digit lead over the star-studded Nets, as they looekd fresh as ever coming off of a 3-day break. Brooklyn bounced back rather quickly in the second half, taking control of the game in the closing minutes. ZThe Nets locked it down on the defensive end of the floor down the stretch to secure a 117-112 win over the Cavaliers.

Jarrett Allen made an immediate impact in his return from the Covid-19 list. The Cleveland center recorded an impressive double-double, posting 20 points with 15 rebounds. Cavaliers point man Darius Garland led Cleveland in scoring with 24 points, including 11 total assists. 2nd year winger Isaac Okoro recorded a new season high in points with a total of 15.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will take Tuesday off before hosting the red-hot Phoenix Suns. Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
