The Memphis Grizzlies high powered offense proved to be too much for the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers. Memphis hung 73 points in the first half and looked as if nothing could slow them down. Newly acquired veteran guard Ricky Rubio kept the Cleveland offense flowing and ultimately kept them in the game. Cleveland ran out of steam after attempting a 4th quarter comeback, with the Memphis Grizzlies defeating the Cavaliers by the final score of 132-121.

Surging All Star point guard Ja Morant looked unstoppable on his way to a game-high 37 points, shooting an efficient 17-29 from the field. De'Anthony Melton lit the nets on fire knocking down 4 of 6 three balls.

Ricky Rubio proved to be Cleveland's best facilitator, achieving a double-double off of the bench with 12 points and 10 dimes. Jarrett Allen led all Cavaliers in scoring with 25 points while only pulling in 4 boards.

The Cavaliers will take Thursday off before taking on the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night. Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
