CHICAGO, IL--- The Cavaliers got their first win in grand fashion, defeating the Bulls in Chicago 128-96. Donovan Mitchell propelled the Cavs with his 2nd straight game scoring 30+ points. Mitchell's stat line read 32 points, 8 assists, and 9 rebounds in 34 minutes of play.

Following Darius Garlands' eye injury, the Cavs bounced back big time in a huge win against a playoff contender. As I mentioned before, the Cavs dominated the first half along with Mitchell, who had a 17 point first half. Donovan Mitchell has became the first player in Cavaliers franchise history with back-to-back 30 point games to start the season. Caris LaVert had a great game as well, assisting on 3 pointers all over the floor tonight, scoring 14 pts on 8 assists along with 4 rebounds. Another stellar performance came off the bench in Kevin Love, who had a double double off the bench, scoring 15 points and pulling in 12 rebounds.

The Cavaliers will play their home opener against the Washington Wizards tomorrow night at 7pm, you can hear the game on 1100 AM, 106.9 FM, your free iHeartRadio app, or HERE
