Jake Miller is the CEO of Legend Headwear, a brand with its roots in a 35-year family baseball cap manufacturing business. Miller takes pride in working alongside his parents and adding his own spin to the family business, creating unique takes on caps and knits with bold colors and eye-catching patterns. In Legend’s first year, Miller took ‘Best Cleveland Hat’ in 2017’s Best of Cleveland awards, and has been featured in many news outlets throughout the last 3 years. Miller and Legend have cultivated a strong fan base with the credit of a strong, organic social media presence and the ability to sell directly to customers in pop-up markets around the city, state and country. This year, Legend upfitted a box truck into a retail space on wheels, and the team traveled as far as Denver for markets and tradeshows. Recently, the brand kicked off the Give Warmth Project, a donation project to give to The City Mission with every knit hat sold.
