Conventional airplane etiquette suggests that when the cabin lights dim, especially during an evening flight, chatter should be kept at a low or non-existent level.
During a flight from China to Malaysia, someone apparently didn’t get that memo, and a fight broke out as a result.
Reports say a man asked a group of women seated in front of him to “quiet down” so he could get some sleep.
They didn’t.
That resulted in a “heated exchange” that involved screaming, insults, and a few punches from one of the women.
The cabin crew was able to defuse the situation relatively quickly, and authorities were notified of the disturbance so they could do their thing after the plane landed…with three people being arrested and two more fined.
