Bible Banned In Utah For Being Too "Vulgar And Violent"

A school district in Utah has officially banned the Bible in elementary and middle schools after being called “too vulgar” and “too violent” for youngsters. A copy of the complaint shows that whoever filed it convinced the review committee that the Bible contains instances of depraved, anti-social, and criminal behavior not appropriate for younger age students.

However, the review committee found the Bible didn't qualify under Utah's definition of indecent, which is why it’s still allowed in high school. An anonymous party has filed to appeal the ban.
