Four Common Words Scammers And Phishers Will Put In Their Emails To You

If it weren’t so annoying, it would be impressive how realistic scammers and phishers have made their emails look.

Many of them look as if they’re coming from legit major companies, and IT experts at Trend Micro wanted to find common threads in them.

What they found is that four major companies overwhelmingly are mentioned in the emails: Binance, Tinder, Costco, and Walmart.

Most of the emails will tell you that you either need to “secure your account” or they’ll have a link that looks shockingly realistic.

If you’re ever in doubt, look at the email address it came from.

If it seems suspicious…it is…so don’t click on or respond to it. Just delete it, and go on with your life.
