WATCH VIDEO! Teen Suspect Released After Beat-Down Of NYC Officer

A sixteen year old boy has already been released from jail after a vicious assault Saturday on a New York City police officer at a NYC subway station.

The teen and a female friend jumped a turn style without paying. Police on scene witnessed the attempt by the teens to get a free ride and that's when they intervened.

The boy then got verbally aggressive with officers before it turned violent. In the video released, you can see the teen punching the officer and putting him in a chokehold.

The teens were ultimately taken into custody and charged with second-degree assault on a police officer and other charges.

The boy is walking the streets today after being released, on his own recognizance, thanks to New York State's bail reform laws. WATCH VIDEO!
