Study: Neighborhoods With More Dogs Have Less Crime

If you want to keep your neighborhood safe…get dogs. A new study finds there’s less crime in communities where the residents have dogs.

Specifically, researchers found that more dogs meant fewer aggravated assaults, and lower rates of homicide and robbery.

A reason cited was that people out walking their dogs served as a deterrent for would-be criminals.
