A New Orleans woman is facing murder-for-hire charges after she tried to book a hitman to take out a love rival. 33-year-old Zandra Ellis was arrested in the parking lot of a Waffle House last week after discussing the hit with an undercover agent, who she "hired" on RentAHitman.com.
She was haggling over the price before settling on a $1k fee to kill the other woman with $100 up front, which she paid. Ellis was arrested outside the restaurant after paying the deposit, pushing the child she had brought with her in a stroller.
She faces 10 years in prison if found guilty. The website, by the way, was set up to catch people like Zandra.
