Three Cleveland Guardians will be headed to Los Angeles next week to take part in the All-Star Game at Dodger Stadium. Third Baseman Jose Ramirez and Second Baseman Andres Gimenez have been name American League reserves while Closer Emmanuel Clase will be part of the Junior Circuit's bullpen. Ramirez is hitting .290 with 17 homers, and 66 RBI in 80 games this season.
The 23-year old Gimenez is having a break-out year hitting .299, with 9 homers and 40 RBI in 72 games. Clase rounds out the Guardians selections as the 24-year old leads the American League in Saves with 19 in 21 chances. His stat line on the year: 33 games, 35.1IP, 23H, 6ER, 6BB, 39SO. The Mid-Summer's Classic is Tuesday, July 19 at legendary Dodgers Stadium.
