Report: USC And UCLA Leaving Pac-12 For Big-10

Huge news out of the west coast as John Wilner from the 'Mercury News' reports U-S-C and U-C-L-A are poised to leave the Pac-12 Conference for the Big-10 Conference.

Neither school has yet to finalize their departures but Wilner reports the moves to Big-10 country could come as early as 2024.

The motivations for the Trojans and Bruins to join the Big-10 are monetary to a large degree. There is more money and prestige for schools in the Big-10 than the Pac-12.

It is the same reason why Texas and Oklahoma decided to leave the Big-12 in favor of the Southeastern Conference.

The Big-10 hasn't expanded since 2014 when it admitted Rutgers and Maryland into the conference.
